As posted on slashdot, google voice has grabbed a million numbers, indication that they are close to opening up publicly. No word yet as to if any of these are Canadian numbers (likely not), but we can hope.

Apple has released iPhone OS 3.0 for download today. It’s free for iPhone users, and $9.99 for iPod Touch users. The title says it all. This will bring (proper) push notifications to the iPhone and iPod touch. This means you can use skype on your device and not have to have the program running to receive a call.
