Yep, I kind of did that on purpose Sabeen. It still seems though that people are leaning towards a flat rate for data, even if a usage model is cheaper.

I'm sure that in reality the usage model would be priced higher, more like $0.025/MB for this very reason, and I'm sure wind would be cognizant of this.

can you people do math?

0.015 per MB = $7.50 for 500MB and $15 for 1000MB, catch is its charged in accordance to YOUR usage. May be $3.50 one month and $8 the next instead of $10 every month for data you are not using.

Why would so many be choosing the 'set rate', when theres 1/1000 chance you will use EVERY last MB, to where the set rates runs you well over the 'per-mb' rate?? are you all under the CTRC warp we've been encased in for the past 2 decades, or is math really THAT big of a problem?

The set rate is only good if you exceed 2500MB per month usage as the per-mb cost then increases over the usage.
(500MB * 0.015/MB = $7.50)
(1000MB * $0.015/MB = $15)
(2500MB * 0.015/MB = $37.50) - Here's where unlimited would 'kick' in at $35 a month offering up to 5GB of usage.
