Google Voice – Invite a Friend Opens: Get Yours Here
UPDATE: I now have invites.
I now have some invites to give out. Get the word out via twitter, your own blogs, and facebook. Remember that google voice currently doesn’t work in Canada, but there are ways around that. You won’t be able to get a Canadian google voice number right now, and unless you are in area code 403, you won’t be able to tie your regular phone in to google voice. To ensure the invites aren’t wasted, I will be somewhat selective on handing them out. Highest priority people are those who:
1. Have a 403 phone number, or a US phone number they can use (otherwise the invite is useless)
2. Really really want an invite
3. Make me happy by tweeting/facebooking/blogging this post. Hopefully we can get a free flow of invites going here.

Google is going to be opening up Google Voice to the friend invite system.
Starting today, we’re beginning to give out invitations to Google Voice users. If you currently use Google Voice, over the next few weeks, you’ll see an “Invite a friend” link appear on the left-hand side of your inbox.
Invites will show up soon and will be limited to three per account with more to come in time. Let’s try to spread the love.
If you want an invite, comment and I’ll do what I can to get them out when I get them. Tell your friends to check this story out and we can try to get you all invites as quickly as possible.
